A Bill to Lower the Drinking Age
1: Article I: Upon passage of this bill, the alcohol purchase age in the
2: District of Colombia and all federally-administered territories shall
3: be adjusted to 18.
4: Article II: Beginning on June 1, 2009, the United States shall
5: withhold 20% of the transportation budget of any state which has an
6: alcohol purchase age higher than 18.
7: Article III: Beginning on January 1, 2012, the United States shall
8: withhold 100% of the transportation budget of any state which has an
9: alcohol purchase age higher than 18.
10: Article IV: Any existing laws in conflict with this law are considered
11: null and void.
