A RESOLUTION to Nullify the Patriot Act.
1: Whereas Federal agencies such as the CIA and FBI have been given the
2: authority to invade the privacy of American citizens who may or may
3: not be terrorist suspects, and
4: Whereas these Federal agencies have the authority to gather personal
5: information of individuals, including medical records and credit card
6: history, and
7: Whereas these Federal agencies investigate the personal lives of
8: people who are completely unaware that they are under investigation,
9: and,
10: Whereas the Patriot Act severely limits the right to privacy for
11: American citizens.
12: Be it resolved in Student Congress here assembled that the Patriot Act
13: shall be nullified immediately.
