A Resolution to Sanction Venezuelan Oil

1: Whereas: Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez has openly promised to weaken the

2: interests of the United States of America and

3: Whereas: The United States purchases a large amount of oil from Venezuela, which

4: directly funds Chavez's government; and

5: Whereas the Venezuelan government is a military dictatorship whic does little for its

6: citizens and

7: Whereas President Chavez has pressured OPEC to cut production of oil in an attempt to

8: damage our economy by increasing prices;

9: Be it therefore resolved that an immediate embargo of Venezuela oil be established.
