A resolution to ban the teaching of Intelligent Design in public school
1: Whereas: The theory of Intelligent Design has been the source of much controversy
2: Whereas: Intelligent Design has not been proven scientifically
3: Whereas: Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution is scientifically accepted
4: Whereas: The constitutionally of the theory of Intelligent Design is questionable on
5: numerous counts
6: Whereas: Intelligent Design has religious groundwork
7: Therefore, be it resolved that: The teaching of the theory of Intelligent Design as
8: a religious theory be permitted in public schools only in Theology Classes
