A Resolution to abolish the Electoral College

1: Whereas, the Electoral College is an antiquated institution;

2: Whereas, we ought to represent the majority of the population; and

3: Whereas, the Electoral College interferes with the achievement of this

4: goal.

5: Be it resolved by the congress:

6: That the Electoral College is hereby abolished and a national popular

7: vote be instituted.

8: A majority of the vote is required to be declared the president of the

9: United States.
