A Resolution Regarding the Independence of Kosovo
1: Whereas recognizing Kosovo's independence violates international law
2: by which the U.S. abides and
3: Whereas large portions of Kosovo are displeased with this declaration
4: and Whereas, this declaration by Kosovo will only lead to more
5: violence in the war-torn region and
6: Whereas, several European nations fear this will lead to an increase
7: in secessionist movements and
8: Whereas, the U.S. was among the first of nations to recognize Kosovo's
9: independence, therefore:
10: Be It Resolved by this Student Congress here assembled that::
11: The United States of America retract its recognition of Kosovo's
12: independence.
